Specialist Women’s Imaging Centre offers a specialist service. We do comprehensive examinations on all patients and are dedicated to providing the fastest report turnaround time with accurate thoughtful reports.
Specialist Women’s Medical Centre is a state-of-the-art facility with all “True Digital” imaging equipment. Our “True Digital” mammography machine utilizes a digital detector plate. The images are far more accurate and have the lowest x-ray dose possible. Digital Radiography (DR) has significantly lower x-ray dose in all modalities than Computed Radiography (CR) – the current standard on the Sunshine Coast.
